<br />
Hi, it has been a while since i wrote the last tutorial, mainly because I was busy during the last two weeks working on a new app, well since I’ve got many requests asking for the best way to get the games, I decided to make an app that will help you out finding the ROM files you are looking for. Now, that it’s ready, this will be a quick review/tutorial for my new app : As always, I will try to keep it as easy as possible so anyone can follow up easily.<br />
<br />
By the way, if you have any issues/problems about configuring or running your emulators you can check my tutorials over here <span style="color: #0b5394;"><a href="http://emu4android.blogspot.com/2013/08/consolesList.html">Emulators Tutorials</a></span>, if you can't find a tutorial about your emulator:<br />
<br />

or by email <span style="color: #0b5394;">geminiandroidapps@gmail.com</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/-eDfXFDSqrs?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<ol>
<li> <h4>
Requirements :</h4>
<ul>
<li><b><a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/8y1r3qcsfyd60nt/AnyEmulatorRoms.apk"><i>Any Emulator ROMS</i></a> :</b> First, we need to install the app on our android devices, here is the link of the app :<u><i><b> </b></i></u><b><a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/8y1r3qcsfyd60nt/AnyEmulatorRoms.apk"><i>Download Any Emulator ROMS</i></a> </b>.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> <h4>
Running the app :</h4>
Any Emulator ROMS includes a list games for the consoles below : <br />
<b><i><span style="color: #8080ff;">- Atari 2600<br />- Atari 5200<br />- Atari 7800<br />- Atari Jaguar<br />- Atari Lynx<br />- Commodore 64<br />- CPS1<br />- CPS2<br />- Gameboy Advance<br />- Gameboy Color<br />- MAME<br />- Neo Geo<br />- Neo Geo CD<br />- Neo Geo Pocket<br />- Nintendo<br />- Nintendo 64<br />- Nintendo DS<br />- Nintendo Gamecube<br />- PC ENGINE (when using google search engine)<br />- PSP (when using google search engine)<br />- Sega CD<br />- Sega Dreamcast<br />- Sega Game Gear<br />- Sega Genesis<br />- Sega Master System<br />- Sega Model 2<br />- Sega Saturn<br />- Sony Playstation<br />- Super Nintendo<br />- Bandai Wonderswan<br />- Bandai Wonderswan Color<br />- Nintendo Famicom<br />- Nintendo Virtual Boy<br />- Panasonic 3DO<br />and much more...</span></i></b></li>
</ol>
</div>
First when you run the app you will notice that there is a search engine that you will have to choose from, for now it’s either google or coolRom, I will try to add more to cover more consoles, while google is more generic and will provides many random links <img alt="Hypnotized" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/43.gif" />, coolrom (Default search engine) is straight to the point and will deliver instantly what you are looking for <img alt="Winking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/3.gif" /> :<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PZpy2kTnirE/UjZSGPRWMJI/AAAAAAAAAfo/FsQDIYK0Vfc/s1600/Screenshot_2013-09-16-01-13-38.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PZpy2kTnirE/UjZSGPRWMJI/AAAAAAAAAfo/FsQDIYK0Vfc/s320/Screenshot_2013-09-16-01-13-38.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
Next thing to do is to select the console and click browse button, this will list all the games for the selected console, you can use the text field at the top to search or filter the list :<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eLjjCB-cCZg/UjZSGjaf7nI/AAAAAAAAAf4/Dcw2txBbazU/s1600/Screenshot_2013-09-16-01-13-56.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-eLjjCB-cCZg/UjZSGjaf7nI/AAAAAAAAAf4/Dcw2txBbazU/s320/Screenshot_2013-09-16-01-13-56.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
When you select a game, you will prompted to the game details screen, when you will be able to see some screenshots of the game, browse for other images for the games with the <span style="color: #4f81bd;"><b>“show more snapshots”</b></span> button, look for an emulator with the <b><span style="color: #4f81bd;">“Look for an emulator”</span></b> button and search for the game with the<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><b> “Search for game”</b></span> Button which when you click on it will direct you to the search engine result page (for this example coolrom) :<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

<blockquote>
<i><span style="color: #c0504d;"><img alt="Chatterbox" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/76.gif" />“ Enough with the BLAA BLAA BLAA!! ME WANNA PLAY!!<img alt="Angry" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/14.gif" />”</span></i></blockquote>

<div align="center">

</div>
<hr />
Once done, use a file manager to verify that the BIOS files were successfully generated, a folder called <span style="color: #0b5394;"><b>“NeoGeo Bios”</b></span> should be created under the specified folder earlier :<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-oZWkiN7Gp5E/UhkMr1BVgsI/AAAAAAAAAYE/Lb5va6c2GCU/s1600/4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-oZWkiN7Gp5E/UhkMr1BVgsI/AAAAAAAAAYE/Lb5va6c2GCU/s320/4.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<div>
</div>
<div align="center">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
</div>
<hr />
within it, we can find the BIOS files (<span style="color: #0b5394;"><i><b>neogeo.zip</b></i></span>) :<br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-o8QLV-kzYOE/UhkMrwD9bWI/AAAAAAAAAYU/35SzE8Oo1IY/s1600/5.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-o8QLV-kzYOE/UhkMrwD9bWI/AAAAAAAAAYU/35SzE8Oo1IY/s320/5.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<hr />
Now we need to move the generated Bios file<span style="color: #0b5394;"> “<b>neogeo.zip</b>”</span> to the same folder as your game files folder (<span style="color: #0b5394;"><b>this is crucial for the emulator to run</b></span>). Since, am used to place my games into a folder named “ROMS” I will move the generated Bios file to that folder, For that am going to use my default file manager in my Galaxy S2 (if you don’t have a file manager installed, try <span style="color: #0b5394;"><a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop"><b>ES File Explorer File Manager</b></a> </span>and try to do the same steps) :<br /><br />First browse to the the folder <i><span style="color: #4f81bd;">“<b>NeoGeo Bios</b>”</span></i> where you can locate the BIOS file <span style="color: #4f81bd;"><b>“neogeo.zip”</b></span> :<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-o8QLV-kzYOE/UhkMrwD9bWI/AAAAAAAAAYU/35SzE8Oo1IY/s1600/5.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-o8QLV-kzYOE/UhkMrwD9bWI/AAAAAAAAAYU/35SzE8Oo1IY/s320/5.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />now select it to move it :<br /><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wLhcBF8hMAU/UhkMr17HgGI/AAAAAAAAAYM/6TSzTX8MRaU/s1600/6.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wLhcBF8hMAU/UhkMr17HgGI/AAAAAAAAAYM/6TSzTX8MRaU/s320/6.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<br />And paste it under the folder that contains your game files :<br /><br />
<div align="center">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n1XIIYZWbjc/UhkMstiRGrI/AAAAAAAAAYc/CrTxkUQk8uw/s1600/7.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n1XIIYZWbjc/UhkMstiRGrI/AAAAAAAAAYc/CrTxkUQk8uw/s320/7.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FgbZ-7dCgyo/UhkMsysbT2I/AAAAAAAAAYk/mIoXsir-7QE/s1600/8.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FgbZ-7dCgyo/UhkMsysbT2I/AAAAAAAAAYk/mIoXsir-7QE/s320/8.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
</div>
<br />And that’s it, that wasn’t hard I guess <img alt="Whew" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/18.gif" />, the BIOS files are ready, now we can proceed to the next step.<br />
</li>
<li>
<h4>
Configuring the emulator & running the games :</h4>
At this point, we have the bios file and the ROM files located under the same folder <b><span style="color: #0b5394;">“ROMS”</span></b>. Now we need to run the emulator :<br /><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Qx1tTbuu1nE/UiOTy3aGSFI/AAAAAAAAAcs/CGqjfWXy5Js/s1600/1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Qx1tTbuu1nE/UiOTy3aGSFI/AAAAAAAAAcs/CGqjfWXy5Js/s320/1.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<hr />
At the home screen of the emulator, select <span style="color: #0b5394;"><b>“load game”</b></span><i> :</i><br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-08ag9F2XeT8/UiOT3E840VI/AAAAAAAAAdY/Ub5EQl3fgHg/s1600/2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-08ag9F2XeT8/UiOT3E840VI/AAAAAAAAAdY/Ub5EQl3fgHg/s320/2.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<hr />
<div align="left" class="separator">
Now the app shows a list of emulators to choose between, select <b><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="color: #4f81bd;">“Final Burn Alpha” </span><span style="color: black;">:</span></span></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uBLMgo_FwV8/UiOT3Tr6A9I/AAAAAAAAAdc/KoFeMLTMGfw/s1600/3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-uBLMgo_FwV8/UiOT3Tr6A9I/AAAAAAAAAdc/KoFeMLTMGfw/s320/3.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="left" class="separator">
<br /></div>
<b><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="color: black;">
</span></span></b>
<hr />
<b><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="color: black;">
</span></span></b>Now we need to browse to the folder where the Bios file and the ROM files (games) are stored:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6c16GA0z7O8/UiOT4NBA38I/AAAAAAAAAdk/D57PFMSwP8o/s1600/4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6c16GA0z7O8/UiOT4NBA38I/AAAAAAAAAdk/D57PFMSwP8o/s320/4.png" height="320" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="center" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<hr />
Now you just have to select the game file to start the game :<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hb54R3vQei8/UiOT5l4fgpI/AAAAAAAAAdw/boAUcVSi1lg/s1600/5.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hb54R3vQei8/UiOT5l4fgpI/AAAAAAAAAdw/boAUcVSi1lg/s320/5.png" height="192" width="320" /></a></div>

<br />And that’s it <img alt="Whew" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/18.gif" />, now you can live the old arcade games right on your phone <img alt="Dancing" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/69.gif" />. This was the first part of my review for this app, there will be others to come soon where i will try to explain how to setup each emulator. I hope this tutorial was clear, see you again in another tutorial and please don’t forget <img alt="Doh" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/40.gif" />to rate our app <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ga.emulator.bios">Any Emulator BIOS</a> to support us.</li>

Welcome to Gemini Android Apps's blog <img alt="Wave" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/103.gif" /> , As many users of our app <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ga.emulator.bios&hl=fr">Any Emulator BIOS</a> found it a little bit tricky <img alt="Confused" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/7.gif" /> to configure their emulators with the provided BIOS files, we decided to create this blog which will include a step by step tutorials about running emulators on android devices. We will try to include all the possible android apps and cover as many emulators as we can. Given that our blog is still under construction , if you couldn't find a tutorial for your emulator just send us a link for the app :<br />

Hello again folks, am back with another tutorial, this time we will try a Game Boy Advance Emulator : <span style="font-size: small;"><b><a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fastemulator.gbafree">John GBA Lite (GBA Emulator)</a></b></span>. It will be a real quick tutorial as the emulator is already easy to use and doesn’t requires some advanced skills to get it working. Like the previous tutorials, i will try to make it as clear as possible <img alt="Winking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/3.gif" /> including a snapshot for every step so you wouldn't get confused <img alt="Confused" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/7.gif" />.<br />

<h4>
Requirements :</h4>
<span style="font-size: small;">First, lets list the necessary tools to play games on our phones :</span></li>
<ul><span style="font-size: small;"></span>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b><span style="font-size: small;"><b><a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fastemulator.gbafree">John GBA Lite (GBA Emulator)</a></b></span>. :</b> First, we need to install the emulator on our android devices, here is the link of the app on android app store : <span style="font-size: small;"><b><a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fastemulator.gbafree">John GBA Lite (GBA Emulator)</a></b></span>. .There is Also a paid version for this app with more features : <b><a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.johnemulators.johngba">John GBA (GBA Emulator)</a>.</b></span></li>
<li><b><a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/8y1r3qcsfyd60nt/AnyEmulatorRoms.apk">Any Emulator Game</a></b> : the last thing to do is getting the games, well the proper name is ROMS. How to get them?? we will need to install <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/8y1r3qcsfyd60nt/AnyEmulatorRoms.apk"><b>Any Emulator Game</b></a> that will help us find them, here is the link for the app <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/8y1r3qcsfyd60nt/AnyEmulatorRoms.apk"><b>Any Emulator Game</b></a> . Here is also a small quick tutorial that will show how to use it <a href="http://emu4android.blogspot.com/2013/09/Any-Emulator-Game.html"><b>Getting Roms with Any Emulator Game</b></a>.</li>
</ul>
</ol>
<br />
<i><b><span style="color: red;"><img alt="Time out" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/104.gif" /> </span><span style="color: #cc0000;"><span style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">“ </span></span>Once you got the games (ROM File) make sure it’s isn’t an archive file (archive file name ends with .7Z or .RAR or .ZIP), if that’s the case, you need to extract the ROM file first, here is a small tutorial about extracting ROM files <u><u><a href="http://emu4android.blogspot.com/2013/08/extracting-rom-files.html">How to extract ROM files</a></u></u><span style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">”</span></span></span></b></i><br />
<ol><ul>
</ul>
<li>
<h4>
Running the games :</h4>
<div align="justify">
Yup, we are already at this stage unlike the other tutorials, no need for tweaks and tricks for this emulator to get on the right track <img alt="Whew" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/18.gif" />. So, now i have the ROM files (games) : “<i><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><b>Pokemon Emerald.gba</b></span></i>” and <i><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><b>“Zelda : A link to the Past.zip”</b></span></i> located under my downloads folder. We need to start the emulator :</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Qplycmov9TM/Uhi4HZlqslI/AAAAAAAAAWQ/HwnfPlS7pZg/s1600/0.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Qplycmov9TM/Uhi4HZlqslI/AAAAAAAAAWQ/HwnfPlS7pZg/s320/0.png" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="center" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<hr />
<div align="justify">
When launched for the first time, the emulator will try to search for the games stored in your phone, this is a long process and it will take some time to finish depending on your phone memory, I have a 16 Go internal memory which will take some time for the app to go through every folder searching for the games. A better way to do this, is to cancel the search process by clicking the “<i><b><span style="color: #4f81bd;">return button</span></b></i>”, then click the “<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><i><b>browse button</b></i></span>” (The folder icon at the top right) :</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GjfCqeY0tv0/Uhi4FDVkimI/AAAAAAAAAWI/8xTLcbuvXGw/s1600/1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GjfCqeY0tv0/Uhi4FDVkimI/AAAAAAAAAWI/8xTLcbuvXGw/s1600/1.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GjfCqeY0tv0/Uhi4FDVkimI/AAAAAAAAAWI/8xTLcbuvXGw/s320/1.png" width="192" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vnavNVKQvIo/Uhi4FMduAkI/AAAAAAAAAWE/ofJZkE_SHYA/s1600/2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vnavNVKQvIo/Uhi4FMduAkI/AAAAAAAAAWE/ofJZkE_SHYA/s320/2.png" width="192" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<hr />
<div align="justify">
Now you need to browse to the folder where your games are stored, it’s downloads for my case, once found, click “<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><b><i>Select Here</i></b></span>” Button :</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1j97c_6XwYA/Uhi4H-VxYjI/AAAAAAAAAWc/AkB_rGRVCnM/s1600/3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1j97c_6XwYA/Uhi4H-VxYjI/AAAAAAAAAWc/AkB_rGRVCnM/s320/3.png" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="center" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div align="center">
<hr />
</div>
<div align="center">
<div align="justify" style="text-align: left;">
Now we are back at the home screen, click the “<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><i><b>search button</b></i></span>” (magnifier icon) and the games should show up if the right folder is selected earlier :</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-j7Ut6ddCJQs/Uhi4IeTw6eI/AAAAAAAAAWk/3PMYxRT584E/s1600/4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-j7Ut6ddCJQs/Uhi4IeTw6eI/AAAAAAAAAWk/3PMYxRT584E/s320/4.png" width="192" /></a></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</ul>
</ol>
<br />

<h4>
Running the games :</h4>
<div align="justify">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Qplycmov9TM/Uhi4HZlqslI/AAAAAAAAAWQ/HwnfPlS7pZg/s1600/0.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Qplycmov9TM/Uhi4HZlqslI/AAAAAAAAAWQ/HwnfPlS7pZg/s320/0.png" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="center" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<hr />
<div align="justify">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GjfCqeY0tv0/Uhi4FDVkimI/AAAAAAAAAWI/8xTLcbuvXGw/s1600/1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GjfCqeY0tv0/Uhi4FDVkimI/AAAAAAAAAWI/8xTLcbuvXGw/s1600/1.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GjfCqeY0tv0/Uhi4FDVkimI/AAAAAAAAAWI/8xTLcbuvXGw/s320/1.png" width="192" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vnavNVKQvIo/Uhi4FMduAkI/AAAAAAAAAWE/ofJZkE_SHYA/s1600/2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vnavNVKQvIo/Uhi4FMduAkI/AAAAAAAAAWE/ofJZkE_SHYA/s320/2.png" width="192" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<hr />
<div align="justify">
Now you need to browse to the folder where your games are stored, it’s downloads for my case, once found, click “<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><b><i>Select Here</i></b></span>” Button :</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1j97c_6XwYA/Uhi4H-VxYjI/AAAAAAAAAWc/AkB_rGRVCnM/s1600/3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1j97c_6XwYA/Uhi4H-VxYjI/AAAAAAAAAWc/AkB_rGRVCnM/s320/3.png" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="center" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div align="center">
<hr />
</div>
<div align="center">
<div align="justify" style="text-align: left;">
Now we are back at the home screen, click the “<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><i><b>search button</b></i></span>” (magnifier icon) and the games should show up if the right folder is selected earlier :</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-j7Ut6ddCJQs/Uhi4IeTw6eI/AAAAAAAAAWk/3PMYxRT584E/s1600/4.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-j7Ut6ddCJQs/Uhi4IeTw6eI/AAAAAAAAAWk/3PMYxRT584E/s320/4.png" width="192" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hi, today we are going to try for the first time a Nintendo DS emulator that many of the users has asked about the proper way to configure and run it. Like the previous tutorials,i will try to make it as clear as possible <img alt="Winking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/3.gif" /> including a snapshot for every step so you wouldn't get confused <img alt="Confused" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/7.gif" />.<br />

<ol>
<li>
<h4>
Requirements :</h4>
First, lets list the necessary tools to play games on our phones :
<ul>
<li><b>DraStic :</b> First, we need to install the emulator on our android devices, here is the link of the app on android app store : <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsemu.drastic&hl=fr">DraStic</a>. it’s not free <img alt="Money Eyes" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/64.gif" /> and the price is quite high comparing to other NDS emulators but what makes it worth it that it runs the games at full speed.
</li>
<li><b>Any Emulator BIOS</b> : This is the best app ever <img alt="Tongue" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/10.gif" /> and it happens to be mine, we will need it to generate a file called BIOS which is necessary to run the PlayStation games, here is the link for the app : <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BymQx-fXPHY8dHNrVFZ2N19CWjA/edit?usp=sharing"><b>Any Emulator BIOS</b></a>, it’s free by the way <img alt="Dont tell anyone" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/32.gif" />.</li>
</ul>
<blockquote>
<i><span style="color: #c0504d;"><img alt="Time out" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/104.gif" /> “ A what?? a BIOS?? what the heck is a BIOS file?? ”</span></i></blockquote>
<blockquote>
<i><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><img alt="Nerd" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/26.gif" /> “ BIOS - that is the shortcut for <b>B</b>asic <b>I</b>nput/<b>O</b>utput System : that's there the name comes from! You can think of a BIOS as a set of instructions to jump start the Emulator .Without it, you will not be able to play the games.”</span></i></blockquote>
<blockquote>
<i><span style="color: #c0504d;"><img alt="Chatterbox" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/76.gif" />“ Enough with the BLAA BLAA BLAA!! ME WANNA PLAY!!<img alt="Angry" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/14.gif" />”</span></i></blockquote>
</li>

<h4>
Generating the BIOS file : </h4>
After installing the app <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ga.emulator.bios">Any Emulator BIOS</a>, launch the app from the home screen :<br />
<h6 align="center">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-m67tlWk_PEM/Uga3jRjrKBI/AAAAAAAAATg/nqGq7zJGXs4/s1600/PSXBIOS1.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-m67tlWk_PEM/Uga3jRjrKBI/AAAAAAAAATg/nqGq7zJGXs4/s320/PSXBIOS1.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></h6>
<h6>
<hr />
</h6>
Select Nintendo DS Bios from the list then press browse :<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LUaQOG888IQ/Ugf6oRG_sWI/AAAAAAAAAIE/Vrp8joyexXE/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-37-18.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LUaQOG888IQ/Ugf6oRG_sWI/AAAAAAAAAIE/Vrp8joyexXE/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-37-18.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<hr />
Now we choose where to generate the BIOS file, click the "<i>Browse</i>" Button and choose the folder <u>download</u> just under the root of your internal storage (External Storage if you have an SDcard), btw, it’s the same place where i put the game file, so I don’t have to look in a different places later <img alt="Winking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/3.gif" /> :<br />
<br />
</li>
<li>
<div align="center">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zE7NPIQGPGs/Ugf6wjXaIaI/AAAAAAAAAKU/kERM5PhPnYk/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-55-53.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zE7NPIQGPGs/Ugf6wjXaIaI/AAAAAAAAAKU/kERM5PhPnYk/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-55-53.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-C7bX9bISe6M/Ugf6pcX3cqI/AAAAAAAAAIc/uTWuzkbvR28/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-41-56.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-C7bX9bISe6M/Ugf6pcX3cqI/AAAAAAAAAIc/uTWuzkbvR28/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-41-56.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<hr />
After specifying where to generate the BIOS file, click “<i>Generate Bios Files</i>” :<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7yNegmMbebY/Ugf6p1II_5I/AAAAAAAAAIw/hLDcA85gb1o/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-03.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7yNegmMbebY/Ugf6p1II_5I/AAAAAAAAAIw/hLDcA85gb1o/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-03.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<hr />
Once done, use a file manager to verify that the BIOS files were successfully generated, a folder called Nintendo DS BIOS should be created under the folder<i>“Download”</i>:<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-npaYq_em3Gg/Ugf6qWTBPwI/AAAAAAAAAI4/TCND6vRkN7c/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-42.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-npaYq_em3Gg/Ugf6qWTBPwI/AAAAAAAAAI4/TCND6vRkN7c/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-42.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<hr />
within it, we can find the BIOS files (3 files as shown below) :<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PaeMxzQAmq0/Ugf6qpe_CAI/AAAAAAAAAJI/EP-ve_TbLwM/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-47.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PaeMxzQAmq0/Ugf6qpe_CAI/AAAAAAAAAJI/EP-ve_TbLwM/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-47.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<hr />
If you try launching the emulator at this stage, DraStic will tell you that it cannot find the BIOS <img alt="I dont know" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/106.gif" />.<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mgtxJhyBsWU/Ugf6o7-ehhI/AAAAAAAAAIU/ep0h6iq-emQ/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-39-57.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mgtxJhyBsWU/Ugf6o7-ehhI/AAAAAAAAAIU/ep0h6iq-emQ/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-39-57.png" height="192" title="Drastic" width="320" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bhXxuc1hfrA/Ugf6pNmYlxI/AAAAAAAAAIY/b6Y68ab1Dvg/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-40-21.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bhXxuc1hfrA/Ugf6pNmYlxI/AAAAAAAAAIY/b6Y68ab1Dvg/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-40-21.png" height="192" title="Drastic" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Usually the developers of the emulators application gives you the option to specify the BIOS path. But this wasn’t the case for DraStics developers <img alt="Whistling" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/65.gif" />, nope, their app will only look for the BIOS file right under the folder <i>“Download”.</i><br />
<br />
Since, the generated bios files are now under a folder called <i>“Nintendo DS Bios”</i>, we just need to move them to the parent folder <i>“Download”,</i> For this am going to use my default file manager in my Galaxy S2 (if you don’t have a file manager installed, try <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop">ES File Explorer File Manager</a> and try to do the same steps).<br />
<br />
First browse to the folder <i>“Download”</i> then open the folder <i>“Nintendo DS Bios”</i> where you can see the 3 BIOS files : biosnds7.rom, biosnds9.rom and firmware.bin :<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PaeMxzQAmq0/Ugf6qpe_CAI/AAAAAAAAAJI/EP-ve_TbLwM/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-47.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-PaeMxzQAmq0/Ugf6qpe_CAI/AAAAAAAAAJI/EP-ve_TbLwM/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-47.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
now select those 3 files to move them :<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Xf2D7vamOqk/Ugf6q1dnc2I/AAAAAAAAAI8/K04m2kKLpK0/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-58.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Xf2D7vamOqk/Ugf6q1dnc2I/AAAAAAAAAI8/K04m2kKLpK0/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-42-58.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
And paste them under the folder <i>“Download” :</i><br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-k12ibZFgJ-Q/Ugf6rGqdlQI/AAAAAAAAAJM/phTgSW9ALRw/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-43-13.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-k12ibZFgJ-Q/Ugf6rGqdlQI/AAAAAAAAAJM/phTgSW9ALRw/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-43-13.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<br />
And that’s it, that wasn’t hard I guess <img alt="Whew" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/18.gif" />, the BIOS files are ready, now we can proceed to the next step.<br />
</li>
<li>
<h4>
Configuring the emulator & running the games :</h4>
At this point, we have the bios files and the ROM file (game), for my case it’s “<i>New Super Mario Bros. (US).nds</i>” located under /storage/sdcard0/download (this path may vary with the phone type or the android version).<br />
Now we need to install the emulator and launch it :<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-O6kVXtopXfk/Ugf6wY1ntCI/AAAAAAAAAKQ/gmPX-WmwoLE/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-55-17.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-O6kVXtopXfk/Ugf6wY1ntCI/AAAAAAAAAKQ/gmPX-WmwoLE/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-55-17.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<hr />
At the home screen of the emulator, select <i>“load new game” :</i><br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uju6QoXAN3s/Ugd20vkG3GI/AAAAAAAAAA0/ndp7IdrLgD8/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-02-28-02.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HvnMbnNdIl0/Ugf6r4fnP7I/AAAAAAAAAJc/ePPdMHapbL4/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-43-33.png" height="192" title="Drastic" width="320" /> </a></div>
<hr />
Now browse to the folder where the ROM files (games) are stored (for my case it’s <i>“Download”</i> ) :<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RtI9tddb7wI/Ugf6sO432VI/AAAAAAAAAJk/vtJ2z4y1ros/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-44-35.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RtI9tddb7wI/Ugf6sO432VI/AAAAAAAAAJk/vtJ2z4y1ros/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-44-35.png" height="320" title="Drastic" width="192" /></a></div>
<hr />
Now you just have to select the game file to start the game :<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gomlCwAEzsE/Ugf6tJwEOwI/AAAAAAAAAJw/cY5kjryfg_o/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-45-02.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gomlCwAEzsE/Ugf6tJwEOwI/AAAAAAAAAJw/cY5kjryfg_o/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-45-02.png" height="192" title="Drastic" width="320" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ze3dxF1Sk4c/Ugf6uKJC94I/AAAAAAAAAKE/-hVoyz3xO_8/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-45-55.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ze3dxF1Sk4c/Ugf6uKJC94I/AAAAAAAAAKE/-hVoyz3xO_8/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-45-55.png" height="192" title="Drastic" width="320" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Ac3D7BBaevM/Ugf6udu1BFI/AAAAAAAAAJ0/_0yn4GlLi10/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-46-45.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Ac3D7BBaevM/Ugf6udu1BFI/AAAAAAAAAJ0/_0yn4GlLi10/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-46-45.png" height="192" title="Drastic" width="320" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JerAxQwBiuo/Ugf6uyU-EOI/AAAAAAAAAKA/I8zITYSBjEo/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-47-50.png"><img alt="Drastic" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JerAxQwBiuo/Ugf6uyU-EOI/AAAAAAAAAKA/I8zITYSBjEo/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-21-47-50.png" height="192" title="Drastic" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And that’s it <img alt="Whew" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/18.gif" />, now you can enjoy playing your Nintendo DS games on your phone <img alt="Dancing" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/69.gif" />. I hope it was clear, see you again in another tutorial and please don’t forget <img alt="Doh" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/40.gif" />to rate our app <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ga.emulator.bios">Any Emulator BIOS</a>.</li>

Hello once again in another tutorial <img alt="Wave" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/103.gif" />, today we are going to deal with ROM files and explain how to properly maintain them.</div>
<ol>
<li> <h2 align="justify">
<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The issue :</span></span></h2>
<div align="justify">
Well, usually the ROM files are packaged into archive files in order to reduce their size and make them easier to manage.<br />
<br />
<img alt="Confused" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/7.gif" /><i><span style="color: #4f81bd;"> ” what’s an archive file at first place? ”</span></i><br />
<span style="color: #c0504d;"><i><br /><img alt="Nerd" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/26.gif" />” Hmm…how to explain it?? Okay, given you have some stuff (shoes, games, shampoo, etc…) that you need to package them together, well, the easiest way is to put them inside a box. That’s the same thing about archives, they are the box that holds your files together”<br /><br /><img alt="Thinking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/39.gif" /> </i></span><i><span style="color: #4f81bd;">” Isn’t that what a folder does? DUH!!”</span></i><br />
<span style="color: #c0504d;"><i><img alt="Nerd" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/26.gif" />” Well, yes… but the archive files have a main feature that neither folder nor boxes can do : compressing and reducing the file size. for example if you package a 1Go file inside an archive file, it’s size will be definitely smaller : 0.5 Go for example (The compressing ratio depends on the archive type). Thus it takes less time sending it over the internet <img alt="Winking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/3.gif" />”</i></span><br />
<br />
Back to the problem : some of the emulators (Not all of them of course) doesn’t recognize these games when packaged into archives.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #c0504d;"><i><img alt="Nerd" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/26.gif" />” Back to our example, Imagine you are the emulator <img alt="Hee hee" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/71.gif" /> and the shampoo is the rom file, but instead of giving you directly the shampoo, you got the shampoo packaged inside a box; a smart emulator will unpack the box, take the shampoo bottle and use it like a boss <img alt="Cool" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/16.gif" />, a dumb emulator <img alt="Monkey" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/51.gif" /> will either hold the box over it’s head and wait for the shampoo to come out or ignore the box and pretend that he doesn’t see it because it doesn’t look like a shampoo bottle” </i></span><br />
<br />
What we need to do then, is to extract the rom file for them and that’s what i am going to explain next. </div>
</li>
<li> <h2 align="justify">
<span style="color: #4f81bd; font-weight: bold;">How to extract :</span></h2>
<span style="color: #4f81bd; font-weight: bold;"></span><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><i> <div align="justify">
<br />
<img alt="Thinking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/39.gif" /> “First how can i tell if my ROM file needs to be extracted?”</div>
</i></span><span style="color: black;"><br />That’s quiet easy to tell from the file name, if it ends with<b> .ZIP</b>, <b>.RAR</b> or <b>.7Z</b> (those are the most popular archive file types/extension) then your real ROM file is packaged inside and it needs to be extracted.<br /><br />As I said before, not all the emulator are dumb and doesn’t recognize the archived ROM files. You can check if your emulator support loading those files by browsing to them within the emulator, if they shows up then it’s most likely that they can run them, if that wasn’t the case then those files need to be extracted first.</span><br /><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><i><img alt="Thinking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/39.gif" /> “Okay! I think I got it. But how can I extract them?”</i><br /><br /><span style="color: black;">Well you have two possibilities that depends on the environment you are using, and by environment I mean whether you are using your computer to manage your ROMS or your android device :</span></span></li>
</ol>
<h1>
<span style="color: #4f81bd; font-weight: bold;">Working with your PC :</span></h1>
<div align="justify">
<br />
I recommend using your laptops/desktop computer because it’s way easier to manage your files with. In order to decompress the archived files, we need to install a program like <a href="http://www.7-zip.org/">7zip</a>, <a href="http://www.winzip.com/win/en/downwz.htm">WinZip</a> or <a href="http://www.win-rar.com/start.html?&L=10">WinRAR</a>, you get to choose, they are all free. Am using WinRAR for the next example :</div>
<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="color: black;"><br />We need to go to the directory containing the archived rom file, mine is a Nintendo DS rom packaged within <b>.ZIP</b> file <span style="color: #4f81bd;">“New Super Mario Bros. (US).zip” </span>and since my Nintendo DS emulator doesn’t recognize <b>.ZIP</b> file and it only loads<b> .NDS</b> files (that’s the extension of Nintendo DS ROMS). We need to right click the archive file, we will be presented with a context menu that looks like the following :</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="color: black;"><br clear="all" /></span></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-h_NDPbq38xo/UgfJsT_c_sI/AAAAAAAAAGM/lbX4svcZSCA/s1600/extract1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="280" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-h_NDPbq38xo/UgfJsT_c_sI/AAAAAAAAAGM/lbX4svcZSCA/s400/extract1.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="color: black;">Click <b><i>“Extract here”</i></b> and a process will start which will decompress the files inside the archive. We get a <b>.NDS</b> file which i can load now to my emulator <img alt="Dancing" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/69.gif" />. now all I got to do is to transfer those files from my computer to my android phone. This is can be easily done via a USB cable :</span></span><br />

<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="color: black;"> If you don’t have a USB cable for your phone/Tablet, then using your phone to extract the archive files is the best solution. First we need to install an app that will do the decompressing task for us, for that I recommend <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.agilesoftresource">AndroZip™ File Manager</a> one of the best android file browsers that offer the possibility to manage archive files, plus it’s free.<br /><br />So I have the same archive file from the example above and we are going to extract it using <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.agilesoftresource">AndroZip™ File Manager</a>. First, we launch the application :<br />

<span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="color: black;">

<h4>
<span style="font-weight: normal;">Next, some conditions to accept, of course all of you are owners of a PlayStation console and you are going to dump your own original games into <span style="font-weight: bold;">ISO </span>files, aren’t you?? <img alt="Thinking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/39.gif" /></span></h4>

<h4>
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><i><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><img alt="Confused" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/7.gif" /> “ Yeah, of course! this has to be done the legal way. but, what’s an <span style="font-weight: bold;">ISO </span>file? ”</span></i></span></h4>
<h4>
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><i><span style="color: #4f81bd;"><span style="color: #c0504d;"><img alt="Nerd" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/26.gif" /> “</span> <span style="color: #c0504d;">An <span style="font-weight: bold;">ISO </span>file, often called an <span style="font-weight: bold;">ISO </span>image is an "image" of an entire CD, DVD, or BD. The entire contents of a disc can be perfectly represented in a single <span style="font-weight: bold;">ISO </span>file. So your game or ROM should be an <span style="font-weight: bold;">ISO </span>file in order for the emulator. there are other file type that this emulator can play too which are similar to ISO file types like : <span style="font-weight: bold;">.IMG, .BIN, .CUE, .NRG , .MDF and .Z. <span style="font-weight: normal;">So before running the games make sure they have the right <span style="color: #c0504d;">extension </span></span></span></span></span><span style="color: #c0504d;">”</span></i></span> </h4>
<h4>
<span style="font-weight: normal;"> </span></h4>
<h4>
<span style="font-weight: normal;">Back to work guys, this app asks us for the menu type we want to choose. Easy or Advanced?? Hmm… <img alt="Thinking" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/39.gif" />. Am lazy so i chose the easy one :</span></h4>

<h4>
<span style="font-weight: normal;">Hang tight, we are almost there, now this app has a great feature it will look for it self for the BIOS and the game files stored in your phone. Isn’t that cool, it can’t get any easier from here. Just select "<i>OK</i>" when prompted for Auto-scan :</span> </h4>

<br />
<span style="color: black;">Well, you still can specify the BIOS file and the game file manually, to do so back to the home screen of the emulator and click the menu button in your phone (it’s the button that shows the menu <img alt="Doh" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/40.gif" />)</span>, <span style="font-weight: normal;">we are going to specify the BIOS file, so click “<i>LOAD BIOS</i>”:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-j5_HMc0Vg7Q/Ugd28nHeprI/AAAAAAAAACU/iK54eeUc9fs/s1600/Screenshot_2013-08-11-02-35-25.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="FPse" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-j5_HMc0Vg7Q/Ugd28nHeprI/AAAAAAAAACU/iK54eeUc9fs/s320/Screenshot_2013-08-11-02-35-25.png" height="320" title="FPse" width="192" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-weight: normal;">Now, just browse to the folder where the BIOS file has been saved earlier, for my case it’s under the folder <span style="color: #4f81bd;">“/storage/sdcard0/download/Playstation 1 Bios”<span style="color: black;">, it’s the file</span> </span><span style="color: red;"><b>“SCPH1001.BIN”</b><span style="color: black;">. <br />
<span style="color: #6aa84f;">PS : Another way to specify the BIOS file, select <i>"SETTINGS"</i> instead of <i>"LOAD BIOS"</i>, then go to <i>"MISC"</i> then<i> "Load bios"</i>.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: red;"><span style="color: black;">Done with the Bios, now let’s select the game manually, (First, ensure that the game has the right extension as mentioned above, if it’s an archive you need to extract it first, follow this tutorial for more details <b style="color: red;"><i><u><a href="http://emu4android.blogspot.com/2013/08/extracting-rom-files.html">How to extract ROM files</a></u></i></b>). <br />
<span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: red;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="color: #c0504d;"><span style="color: #333333;">Once you found your game just select it and it will start, for my example it’s "<b>Crash Bandicoot.bin</b>" , see, it’s a<b> .BIN</b> file extension (the file name ends with <b>.BIN</b>) which is supported by this emulator. If it was an archive file <b>(.RAR</b> or <b>.ZIP</b> or <b>.7Z</b>, etc...) it wouldn’t show and it needs to be extracted, I keep telling this because it’s the main reason why games don’t show up <img alt="Worried" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/17.gif" /> :<br /><br /> </span></span></span></span></span><br />

<li> <h2>
<span style="color: #0b5394;">Requirements :</span></h2>
First, we need to grab the necessary tools to play games on our phones <span style="color: #0b5394;">:</span><br />
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Android Phone </b>: <b><img alt="Surprise" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/13.gif" /></b> Yes, you heard me right , you need a phone running at least Android 2.2 so you can run this emulator.<br />
You can check your android version by going to <b>" Settings >> About device >> Android Version ".</b> </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>ePSXe :</b> Then we need to install the emulator on our android devices, here is the link of the app on android app store : <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.epsxe.ePSXe">ePSXe</a>. It’s isn’t free though <img alt="Money Eyes" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/64.gif" /> but it’s worth it. </li>
<li style="text-align: justify;"><b>Any Emulator BIOS</b> : This is my precious app <img alt="Tongue" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/10.gif" />, we will need it to generate a file called BIOS which is necessary to run the PlayStation games, here is the link for the app : <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BymQx-fXPHY8dHNrVFZ2N19CWjA/edit?usp=sharing">Any Emulator BIOS</a>, it’s free by the way <img alt="Dont tell anyone" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/32.gif" />.</li>
</ul>

</blockquote>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<blockquote>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<i><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: small;"><span style="color: #d16349;"><span style="color: black;"><img alt="Nerd" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/26.gif" /> </span><span style="font-weight: normal;">“ BIOS - that is the shortcut for <span style="color: red;">B</span>asic <span style="color: red;">I</span>nput/<span style="color: red;">O</span>utput <span style="color: red;">S</span>ystem : that's there the name comes from! <span style="color: black;"><span style="color: #c0504d;">You can think of a BIOS as a set of instructions to jump start the Emulator .Without it, you will not be able to play the games.”</span></span></span></span></span></i></div>
